Default Snacking around the World... Canada?

One of my son's favorite things on our last trip was snacking around the World Showcase. We thought that it was a fun way to teach him about the countries. (He is 3.) What are your favorite snacks around the WS? And are there any snacks available in Canada?

Nope. No snacks to speak of at the Canada pavilion. It would be cool if ther had a place to grab a beer and poutine.

Sadly, I had the poutine at Le Cellier a couple of years ago. No curds, cheddar. Tasty, sure. Authentic? Oh no.

The only thing I ever see is popcorn...which I always get. And then I try to be sly and feed the ducks without anyone seeing me. They love it. It's probably not good for them. But they love it so. And the ducks are cute.

I think the Canada pavilion had some candies that were made in Quebec. Check with the CM.

Look inside the gift shop. There are some interesting snacks there. Not many, but a couple of candies.

    Thumbs up

I do not know why I have never thought of this. What a fun thing to do with kids. We have done the passort a couple of times which our kids loved but I think they would really love "snacking around the world". Thanks for the great idea

Canadian's don't snack ... We eat our three squares per day, and no snacks ... this is why the pavillion is short on grab and gos.

I know there had to be a reason We lucked out a few years ago and were able to eat the cheese soup for a snack credit during food and wine.

You had to go and bring up snacks in Canada, didn't you. I just got out of therapy and was starting to cope with life knowing that there were no longer Beaver Tails in the Canada pavillion. They were these large flat pastires, sprinkled in cinnamon-sugar, and then topped with something of your choice - which could've been chocolate and real Canadian maple. But NOOOOO. Disney either ran them off or couldn't keep them there, and it's a real travesty. 2004 was the last time I bit into one of those. I really miss them. See how crazy I am again.

Those had to be pretty good! I'll have to check the gift shop for something Canadian.

DS3 has been asking for Koki Gori as his "special golf ball treat" so I know that will be on the agenda!
