    Default Best mashed potatoes??

My 16 year old daughter LOVES mashed potatoes. She claims they are her favorite food. We'll be in Disney at the beginning of June. What are all your opinions on where to get the best mashed potatoes in "the world"? Thanks!!

I like the mashed potatoes at Sunshine Seasons & Hoop de Doo. Liberty Tree is pretty good as well.
Boma has Fufu which is a mix of regular white potatoes & sweet potatoes with a touch of cinnamon. They are delicious!!!

For some reason I never get mashed potatoes at any of the character buffets so I can't be of much help there. I guess it's because I tend to get things I don't eat as often as I do when home. My wife always get's them & they never look paste-y or runny. So I guess you can't go wrong at any of those.

They are really good at Crystal Palace-are they pretty standard at all WDW dining like the chicken nuggets and fries? Seems like most of the buffets have them and they are great.

My favorite mashed potatoes not at Disney are at Red Lobster. The Disney potatoes are better -

Chefs de France served some really good basil flavored mashed potatoes with chicken. I was impressed.

The Bangers and Mash(ed potatoes) at the Rose & Crown are very good. They come with shallot gravy, but they are delicious. Yes, there's a bar attached, but it is a family friendly place.

Jiko has some great herb mashed potatoes. Jiko is a Signature Restaurant located at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. This would be a very nice place to take family for a special occasion.

Yep, one of my favorite dishes at WDW. The pot roast has changed over the years but it's still pretty good. Potatoes are always good.

Another vote for Crystal Palace. They are so good there that I've been known to forgo dessert to have more mashed potatoes.

I'm also a big mashed potato fan. 50s Prime Time has great ones and so does Chef Mickey's dinner buffet.
