    Default Hoop Dee Doo Qs!

Hi all - I've booked Cat 1 seats for mid April - we are 11 people, includeing 4 kids aged 11 - 5. Based on reviews here, I am expecting medium - good food and a great show.

I have read something about standing in line for pix.... do we HAVE to do that? My DH and my 5 yr old would rather lick the floor than stand in line for pix. Is there a way around this part of the "show"? Maybe we just come a bit later to miss that part and then get seated quickly?

Any other tips for good service or quick entry / exit...?

Another q... any suggestions for after the show in terms of fireworks viewing, campfire/ movie viewing? Can we easily walk somewhere to see the elec water parade?

    Thanks everyone!!

If you don't want to do the pictures just tell them, we opted out in December without a problem.

I didn't even tell them, we just skipped the line. It wasn't "required" they just want to sell you a picture. Food is okay, the show is a lot of fun. Plus, you get beer or wine with your meal free.

They do the same thing at Chef Mickey's! I don't bother having our picture taken because like you said, they try to get you to pay $30 for something at costs $2.

I had 2 beers there and I wasn't carded. Maybe it's something new.

Before our dinner they did the pictures. You don't get free pictures you have to buy them, we had them take one with our camera just for giggles. But yes you can definitely skip the picture op, just tell them when you check in for your ressie that your all set for pictures.

There was a time when they didn't do the "picture" line. I don't remember exactly how it came about but I know the last time we went to Hoop de Doo, we bypassed the picture line entirely and were seated for the show - we didn't even have to turn down the request for pics.

We just skip the picture line too, the point you over to it, but we just don't bother waiting. Never had a problem with it!

There really aren't a lot of tips for a quick entry or exit, as everyone is coming and going at the same time, but it really does move quickly and once you're in, the salad and bread are waiting so can dig in right away.
