    Default Disneyland Suite

So we have a large group of family who wants to go to Disneyland and we were looking at trying to get a 2 bedroom suite at the Disneyland Hotel. Has anybody stayed in a suite and can you give pros and cons? Thanks!

Hey there -- big suites at the DLR can run over a thousand dollars a night -- so the cost is often far more than just getting 3 rooms -- most of the suites are big rooms with a door separating the sleeping area and an connecting room with 2 beds.

To be very honest -- I have had several clients that opted for a suite at DLR -- I have never seen a suite for less that $800 a night --

The pros are the rooms are big, and there are lots of amenities -- the cons are you still can't have a huge group in them due to fire codes and the cost is usually prohibitive to most budgets.

Have you considered staying off property? Many of the Good Neigbor hotels have the same benefits as staying on property. We found that at DLR staying on property is not as big of a deal at staying on property at WDW. There are quite a few good neighbor hotels that offer suites at decent rates. We stayed at the Homewood Suites and they were pretty decent. Not anything special but the transportation was free to and from the parks. They also have a free breakfast.

If price is not an object the suites are very nice at DLR. The parks are close and you can't beat that!
    Too many trips to count!
