Weather - Hot and Humid.....but not as bad as July or August.
Crowds shouldn't be as bad as most schools aren't out yet for the summer and haven't already has spring break.

May is when we normally go...weather is nice & hot, but not oppressive and not yet into the rainy season. Crowds are very manageable, but increase around Memorial Day. Hope you have an awesome trip!!

This is one of our favorite times to visit Disney World! Crowds are definitely manageable and the weather is usually quite nice though on the hot side.
Be sure to check our the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot while you are there!

We've been several times in mid May & it was fantastic! Our experience s has been, very little rain, and those rain events usually very light & brief. We've been lucky with the temps in May also, usually lows have dipped into the 60's with highs in the 80's, but so much less humid than June, at least that's been our experience! Sometimes I am comfortable in a light jacket, capri's or even jeans in the evenings, mornings can have a little chill in the air, but not so much that would warrant me lugging a jacket all day, it warms up quickly!
Our May crowd experiences have been really good! Some people like us take their kids out of school ( DS's now in high school - no longer an option for us ), with park opening arrival & using FP's, we've never waited in a SB line longer than 20 minutes! But we have encountered several school field trips in Epcot, we simply go in a different direction as not to wait in those super long lines! But even those are nothing like the BTG's that come in hoards during the summer months!
Our May experiences in WDW have been nothing short of fantastic! I would highly receommend. If possible, don't wait until the end of the month or even the week leadin up to MD! Much more crowded!

I agree! May was absolutely perfect for us! Perhaps because we are warm weather people, but the weather was very nice, at least to us. Mid 80's at the highest and the humidity seemed relatively low (for Florida standards!). We had no rain whatsoever!
Crowds were light and should be good when yo are there! School trips usually begin the end of May.
May is our absolute favorite time to go! Enjoy your time back at WDW!

we've been that week a few times and it is generally close to perfect. low to moderate crowds and usually excellent weather.
