    Default 2011 Holiday Blanket

Anyone know what design the 2011 Holiday blanket avaliable at the resorts and parks may be? Last year (and the prior year I believe) it was Cinderella Castle lit up. Hoping this year the design will be different. Incase there may be other blankets I'm referring to the one you can get with purchase of $50 or more for around $15. Thanks!!!

My daughter got the castle blanket in 2010, and this year I got a Mickey Mouse knit blanket; we looked for the castle and couldn't find one. Did you get the castle this year? Of course, we were there for New Year's so they might have run out of one and gone to another. When we were there in August they had back packs...I like the blankets better. I hope someone knows what the design will be this holiday season.

We got the castle December 09. If I remember correctly they have had the same design since the year the introduced the 'ice lights.' Not sure the exact year but I'm thinking 07ish??? I searched around on the net and was able to find the castle blanket for pretty decent prices. Granted it wasn't $15 but still =) I will say the blanket is sooooo cozy so if you get the chance grab one.

Last weekend they had a Cinderella Castle throw for $17.95 (I think) with a $40 purchase. It was a soft throw with a blue background.

They must have more than 1 per year. Last year we got one with all the characters ice skating on a pond and some of them were throwing snowballs I believe. 2 years ago we got the one with mickey, minnie and pluto sitting by the fire and 3 years ago was the castle lit up. I would love to know what this years is if there is a different one besides the castle.

Where are the Holiday Throws available? We will be there in a few weeks, but just for a short, 3 night visit. We won't have a ton of time to shop, but I 'd like to pick up a couple to bring home for gifts? THANKS!

The fleece throw this year is in lighter shades of blue than the previous lit castle throw, and although it is the castle it does not have the lights on it like it has the last few years. It's more of a all year blanket as opposed to looking more holiday like. It's available for $17 with a $40 purchase in most of the major MK merchandise locations and DTD.

Two years ago we bought sweatshirts at the Emporium and opted for the holiday blanket special since we spent over $50. It was a blue and white blanket with a snowman that had mickey ears on it. We have it displayed in our living room this year for Christmas.

I'm really disappointed this year. The only throw you can get with a merchandise purchase is the fleece castle. No tapestry throw with a neat Disney scene, Then again, I didn't see anything I wanted enough to meet the minimum purchase either.

They only thing that bothers me about the blanket is that its too small. We got 6 of them during our Thanksgiving trip and I stitched 2 together so basically I have 3 now!!
