Is there a Photopass discount for DVC members or for Disney Visa cardholders or for buying the CD in advance?

I thought that there was one, but when I went on the DVC, Disney Rewards, and Photopass Websites I didn't find anything. Or maybe I'm thinking of past discounts that are no longer offered.

So it basically sits in your Shopping Cart until after your trip? I read the fine print and it looks like if you're not happy with your photos you can back out of it. When you pre-order, you just get a credit in your shopping cart. If you don't check out, then you don't pay for the CD. But if you do check out, which means that you liked the pictures, then no refunds. That gives me peace of mind.

$100 for the CD is really a decent price. When we were in Mackinac Island and stayed at the Grand Hotel two years ago, we had a picture taken on the porch after dinner. I think that it cost $50 for a CD of that one picture.

No you must purchase it first, they will send you a email with a code you use after you get back. My MIL made that mistake and was not able to get the discount after the fact.

Yes it has to be purchased first & if you dont use it you have to cancel it for a refund with in a certain time frame after you return from your trip.
