Just getting off thebus for DHS. Star tours, little mermaid, rnr for mommy and daddy swapping. Maybe tot w/ my daredevil ydd and lunch. Then is on the road to reality.

We are on our last bus ride back to animal kingdom lodge kidani village. Had a great last morning and lunch. We leave feeling very full. I don't know if we are full from lunch or from the "chicken soup for the disney soul". This was the most fun, fufilling trip.
When we get back to AKL, we will do our last visit to the refill station, last purchase at johari and the last time we pass the security hut and here welcome home.
To all who have followed us by reading our travels, I hope you enjoyed following along and hope that for but a few moments, reading my realtime posts gave you a moment of escape from the day to day.
To all the cast members that have made our trip the best one yet, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
And to all the nameless people that showed us kindess, gave me happy birthday wishes without being paid, gave up their seats when they saw me carrying 26 lbs of sleepy preschooler - you have helped to restore my belief that people are genuinely good and helpful.
But, the reports are not over! I will still report from the road on our way home... all night.. this will be a first.
And I have my formal report that i'll be working on the whole way home... i'll try to do pics too.

We just got home, and I read through all your reports. We probably crossed paths several times! We were in Epcot Monday and DHS Tuesday, and saw Wishes Wednesday night.
What a great week to be at WDW. Even the heavy rain that was predicted turned out to be minimal.

Well, we finally got on the road about 3pm. Usually, the disney depression has set in but, it hasn't yet. I'm still on my vacation high. I'm sure it will come eventually.
We just got through ATL. Just got back on the road from a starbucks and fuel stop. I have been driving since mm 49 and we are no on 270 something.
The best part of driving home is that my friends met us at the rest area at mile marker 49. They too got a late start. So, we have joined the convoy and now all the dad's are driving.
I'm off to sleep for a few and hope that the extra strong coffee will keep DH awake.
I will be dreaming about crablegs from Cape May Cafe, bbq ribs from Flame Tree, fairy godmother and my tempurpedic bed.

Oh, man! I'm sure we passed each other. Wasn't the weather great? We only needed our ponchos on tues night for about 25 minutes. If that.

I enjoyed them so much, I hope you made it safely home and know that your live reports were something I looked forward to each day, it was a wonderful escape!! We leave in 4 days and your reports made me remember what it was like to actually be there. I loved them!

Well, we are still on the road. The dads made it to about 4am and pulled into the Kentucky welcome center for a nap. We slept yntill about 745am and were back on the road after gasing up, drive thru McD's and a low tire pressure scare.
But, all is good and we are cruising along at about 76 and should be through lexington in a few minutes.

WE JUST CROSSED THE MICHIGAN STATE LINE!! it felt like forever but, here we are. About 45 minutes from home and wouldn't you know that we need to fuel up or we wont make it.
Just 40 more miles......
