Great monorail debate...I hope you've since seen that it is for maintainance, and your twice per week, using a different mode of Disney transportation, twice, won't ruin your experience.

Reportedly, the maintainance is on the track, not the cars. Less cars on the tracj wouldn't work.

No, I'm still not changing my opinion nor are many others - there's plenty of time during the week to do maintenence and I still think its a bad idea. Do the maintenence at times that don't effect guest experience.

I understand the frustration, but John, how do you know what is enough time and how much work needs to be done? I know I don't, do you?

What I do know - it's never been an issue before. Rest assured, it's a cost cutting move at the heart. Nothing more. Suddenly we need more preventative maintenance that at any other time during the monorail system history?

It's an opinion - that's all. You see from the show, we were split - but that's just the way I feel.

I agree with Joh on this one... It was never an issue before... It is strictly a cost cutting move by TDO...

From time to time, I'll hear 'Real Wet' in Michael's voice just pop into my head. That discussion was probably the highlight of the Podcast for me, rather than the Great Monorail Debate of 2011.

From what I read on another site , it's not totall preventative. They are reportedly having problems with the monorails stopping. I don't know for sure, but if that's true, it needs to be done asap.
