I'm anxiously watching this thread as well...I'm planning to buy one in December and am nervous that I won't be able to find one. I broke down and bought my first Dooney at the park in May 2010. Let me just say that I was hesistant to pay that much for a purse, but it was the best money I've ever spent. I'm REALLY hard on purses...I've destroyed many "expensive" bags, including a Fossil & Coach. Straps break, zippers break, they rip, seams pull apart, they are impossible to clean, etc. I have beat the living daylights out of that Dooney and it still looks like the day I bought it. I dropped a burrito on it and sour cream got all over it...a wet paper towel and it was as good as new. I've NEVER gotten as many positive comments (or comments in general) about ANY purse I've carried...it's been a great conversation piece. So yes, they are expensive, but they are high quaility and hold up really well. I was destroying 3-4 purses a year at $30-$50 each....it didn't take long for my Dooney to pay for itself. I don't think I'll ever buy another brand of purse again.

I hope they are selling the 40th Anniversary bags! We go in three weeks and I'm hoping to get one! I went last year and was going to buy the sketch large handbag, and didn't make it over to the stores (four kids going crazy) but DH surprised me and bought it online. One of the best Christmas gifts EVER!!!

Can anyone point me to a link or pic of this D & B bag pattern? I have been looking at them online and have decided I am going to treat myself to one during our trip in Jan but wondering what all patterns /styles they have in the parks. From what I have heard/read it seems they have a lot more styles/patterns in the stores than they do online.

We just got back Monday night and in EPCOT the big store there Mousegears I think its called, they had it and so did the big store in DTD (I'm like 90% sure of this) I finally got my baloon barrel bag and I'm soooo stoked ^.^

They have a few of the styles still available on the Disney Store online. Too bad it isn't eligible for the 25% off theme park merchandise special they're running right now.

They (40th) are still around in abundance.

I'm now on the lookout for more of the new comic pattern.
