I have a BIG question: ....can you become a Disney Life Time Ticket Holder???? Since the rise of prices my Husband and I have realized that by the time we are in our 60's the price of tickets could very well be like $140 a person!..or just a day! ..and we would rather NOT pay that if possible!! So I was just wondering if there was such a thing??!!!

I know that I've read about a lifetime pass being given away as a promotional thing (2006 - 2 billionth visitor to a Disney Park), but I don't believe they've ever been for sale.

I think your only option is to apply to work there, and just be cast members forever. You'll always get in for free. haha

If I recall correctly, didn't Roy E. Disney make a comment when he was ousting Ei$ner about the biggest difference he saw at the parks was having to pay for admission?

Not sure why that sticks out, and I might have it wrong

But to the point, I don't htink anyone would realistically be able to afford a lifetime pass, so they are not offered. If one were offered, I wouldn't be surprised at a $10K-20K pricetag. Probably closer to the $20K range if not more.

No, Disney doesn't offer them, but I think they should. They are missing out on a pretty good opportunity.

LEGOLAND offers lifetime passes. They are called "Ambassador" passes and are good at all Legoland parks worldwide. They are $2500.

If Disney were smart, they'd offer something like this for somewhere between $5000-7500, knowing that they will get not only cash up front, but a customer for LIFE who will continue to visit and spend $$$$ on resorts, dining, merchandise, etc.

That's what I was thinking, Couldn't you just buy some of the 10 day tickets with NO Expiration and use them yearly until you expire?

Oh yes i like the no expiration choice... that way if you only want a 3 day trip you don't have to waste one of your 200 10-day passes!!!
