Current Status of Mr. Yeti

Does anyone know the current status of our Yeti friend at Expedition Everest? I know in March I read he had been covered up for some sort of maintenance.

He's definitely not covered up. As for his status, he looks the same as he's always looked for me. I guess it's what others call "Disco Yeti".

Just got back on Wednesday. He is uncovered but does not move.

When we did the Dine with an Imagineer last October, he told us they are planning to fix him so he moves again. Just not sure when.

Glad to hear he's not covered up...but sad that he still isn't working right!

Yeti motion won't be restored until 2012. The work to be done is extensive, and will require shutting down the ride for at least a week. Disco Yeti is all we will have for the rest of this year.
