Default What if son turns 3 during our trip??

So, we are planning on going to Disney World during the week that my son turns three. Does that mean he is free the first few days but then needs a park ticket after that? Or I have also heard that admission is based on his age at check-in. Anyone else been in the same boat??

A few years ago my son turned 10 during our trip and he was allowed to access the site on a childs ticket for the entire time. I have heard in the past its your age when you arrive not when you leave, if thats was the case we all would be children

Admission and dining are based on age at the beginning of the trip. At buffets, there is no charge for him to eat. If it's not a buffet he'll either need to eat from your plate or pay out-of-pocket for his meals.

it doesn't matter because as someone mentioned his age is based on what it is at the beginning of the trip, however, let him stay young as long as you can!

You're very honest to even ask. I didn't know the answer, but it looks like from the other posters, you'll be okay. Enjoy that trip!

We were in the same boat in 07. They remain the age they are at check in. It was a great time to go and get him in free one last time.

he'll be free for this trip. Now if only the airlines were 3 and under. Seriously how much room does a toddler take up.
