Best Standard room at Pop Century?
Need opinions on which section of standard rooms at Pop would best suit our needs (myself, DH, DDs age 8, 5 and 2)...
Close to food court and buses,
Not facing pools (in case of daytime naps),
don't necessarily need view of lake since we'll be in the room with the little ones.
Thanks!

We liked the 70s building in the 6000s. It is not considered Preferred but not a bad walk to the main Flower Power pool or food court. I have requested it again for September.
Have fun!

...during a short stay at POP (just me & wife for 2 days)...we were in the 50's Building #1....ground floor...and our room was a 2 minute walk to the main hall...but yet still very quiet and away from the pool. It was quite nice...lotsa' "foliage" outside the room.

I like the 70's section.
But, with kids, I'd pay the little extra for a preferred room.

50's building 1 on first floor w/ pool view was the best standard room we've had. We also had the same but on the third floor which was just as good.
We also had a room on the third floor of the 60's building on the rear side facing the lake which was a short walk to Classic Hall but the view & seclusion isn't what I'd prefer.

The 70's is also close the the children's splash area...food court and buses. My favorite bldg, if not in a preferred room.

i'm not sure what section it is....but we stayed on the top floor right behind the Jungle book, and just loved it.

We generally stay in the 80's building, in the rubix cube section. Some of the 70's building's have become preferred. I alway request a room close to Century Hall and the parking lot. We had a bottom floor room right next to the stairs and it was closer than our Preferred 70's room the year prior.

Thanks!
Thanks for all the replies. I think we're going to try Building 6 in the 70's section facing the Jungle book characters in the 60's section. Should be close to playground, splash area and 60's pools. I appreciate all the help!!!

Bldg 10 in the 70's section is awesome! It's no further walk to Classic Hall or the Hippy Dippy Pool than bldg 4 in the 60's section which is preferred. But the bonus is - it's closer to the bus stops! Very short walk right out to the parking lot (I think for that parking area is deemed the 90's) , actually there's a sidewalk that runs between the lawn & the parking lot that puts you at the end of Classic Hall where the bus stops are located. I actually prefer this area to the 60's preferred rooms! I don't miss the lake view, but really appreciate the shorter walks, to & from the bus stops no less than 4 times

The 70's are by far the best. you can cut across the parking lot to the bus which is very close, and the food court is very close as well.

While I personally prefer the 50s area, I think your choice in the 70s is perfect for your family. The kids will love that section.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.
