"V" Season 2

Has anyone been watching? When the show first premiered DH and I weren't sure we'd stick with it. We are huge fans of the original mini series and it just didn't seem to have the same quality to it. The acting was stiff and the plot lines not that compelling. We did continue to watch however and let me say, I am LOVING this season. The actors have really come a long way, there's a much faster pace to everything, lots of action. I hope it returns next season. Anyone else still watching?

This exactly how my wife and I feel. Lot more action lately.

I really don't like it, but my wife and sons (21 and 18) all are hooked on it. Still, even they admit the dialogue lately has been awful. I'm too much of a realist to get into shows like that, and I don't have the attention span for shows that move slowly. I can handle 30 minute comedies- that's about it for regular tv.

I guess everyone just has their own taste. I think the dialogue is about the same as it's ever been but I feel the actors have gotten better in their roles. And, as someone who does watch a lot of this type of programming, I think the pacing is rather fast.

For those of you that loved the 80s version, what did you think of Diana joining the show! I thought that was an amazing twist. I generally don't like dark shows, (the implied torture of the little girl didn't sit well with me) but I can't seem to stop watching. Esp since Diana joined the show.
