South Seas Island Resort on Captiva (the other end of the island) is very nice. I know it's not Sanibel, but it's not far away.

Captiva's even better You can hit the Mucky Duck and Bubbleroom.... Quick ride to Sanibel.

A number of years ago we rented a condo there- I believe the place was called Loggerhead Cay or Loggerhead Key. The place was beautiful and very clean. It was located right on the beach and had its own pool. They even had chairs and blow-up tubes/toys for us to use. There was a washer and dryer located in the unit, 2 full bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms. A full kitchen, a dining area, and a large size living room. We were very pleased. One of the best vacations I have ever been on! We loved the lighthouse cafe for breakfast on the island, and The Bean served great coffee and ice cream at night. We also ate at the Bubbleroom and the Mucky Duck. Another good one is Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, and also The Hungry Heron. Enjoy planning, it is such a great vacation spot!
