Great Meet!

Thank you Jared for organizing this for us. You really outdid yourself with everything from selecting and securing our menu and reservations for lunch to making sure everyone had directions and making yourself available by email, text and phone to help us with last minute glitches.

From the moment I walked in to the Disney store and all the CMs seemed to know about Jared's group and the tour I knew the Meet was going to exceed my expectations.

It was wonderful visiting with old Intercot friends and to meet new ones as well. As always it is good to share trip stories, Disney knowledge and have informed conversations on a wide variety of subjects. What a fascinating group!

Pete and I look forward to the next NY Meet! Thanks to all for an excellent day!

Thank you, everyone, for the kind words, and I'm glad you all had such a nice time. Kathy deserves much of the credit as well, so make sure to thank her!

We'll put together our next meet in the summer. Hopefully it's another major success!

So sorry that I just read this thread TODAY 3/3/11!!

Fool that I am...
I would have loved to come into the City and met up with all of you. I'll now know to watch out for area get togethers...

We eat at the Heartland Brewery when we go in with friends in November. Good food and price for NYC.
So glad it all went well!!
Next time, I will try and come and THANKS for doing all of that work for an Intercot meet!

How disappointing! But thank you for posting in the thread. Now, when we plan our next get-together, we'll be sure to contact you directly. We always try to reach out to folks who have expressed interest in attending meets!

I never think to look at this thread as, I only get to Disney once every other year. I would have come. The City is a half an hour away for me in no traffic!! I would have loved to meet some of my Intercot pals!! I've eaten at that very Heartland Brewery many many times!!! Also a fan of Tony DiNapoli's next door.

Please keep me in mind for another NYC area meet!!

So sorry I missed it too. I really only get here when I am planning a trip, but I may have made the trip down. It's only about 90 minutes by train and I love to go to the city!
This trip was only planned about 60 days out, so I was not looking then.
We were in the city in mid December and there was A LINE A BLOCK LONG TO GET INTO THE DISNEY STORE!! My daughter was so disappointed.
