So what time should we be on the road?

Leaving Saturday, (this Sat) driving from Upstate NY to Harrisburg, PA (going to Hershey next day). Then the following Monday leaving from Harrisburg to get to DC. Then...leaving Friday from DC to get back home. Plan to do all driving in the A.M. And no chance to change dates now.

So what times are good. I could do 6 a.m. no problem, but if earlier is needed, I could accomodate that as well. Just want to TRY to avoid as much traffic as possible.

I'm not sure how long it takes to get from Hershey to DC but in my experience I would avoid the area around Baltimore to DC from 7:00 to 10:00 in the morning.
