Default 2011 Packages and AAA rates Released (8/8/2010)

Disney has released ALL packages for 2011 along with AAA room only rates.

Changes to the dining plan that I have noticed so far is:

Le Cellier Dinner is now a signature meal (2 credits)
Counterservice Breakfast has only one beverage. The juice has been removed.

You can see the PRELIMINARY dining plan brochures here.

Before everyone panics, the non-Disney owned restaurants are not yet listed. (this is normal) They get added on as they sign. These include the Epcot World Showcase restaurants and Coronado Springs. This occurs every year and every year people get upset. This is NOT the final list.

And the rumors of no dessert seem to be false. Interesting...

Any idea of cost(s) for DVC members and such?

Is there a price comparison available anywhere yet? I've been looking for a comparison between 2010 & 2011 prices, but have not located one yet.

Just went to the WDW Online site to look at 'Room Only' pricing "seasons" for 2011 -- Talk about "Confusion Corner"!!!! 21 different pricing structures over the course of 2011. (I need to keep a calendar with all that info so that DW and I can get our schedules straight!!)

    Thank goodness for MJ!!!!
Kudos to Denise, Kathy, and all the rest at MJ for keeping everything straight...so we don't have to!

You can go to the WDW online site and look under the resort...Room Types & Pricing...then select the "season" you want to stay (if you can figure that out by the titles - there are 21 of them!!)...

There is no DIRECT comparison between 2010 and 2011 rates for the 'same' "season" as dates change year-on-year, but you can get a general idea....

(Sorry! Saw this AFTER I had just posted my earlier message.)

I found for the Aug/Sept "Value Season" the rates differ by $3 per night -- 2011 being higher, of course.

Just saw that the Le Cellier change begins on 3/1/11. I guess this Jan. will be the last time my family and I dine there. Sad....

For our vacation next month, we could only book lunch @ Le Cellier. Sadly, this will probably now be our last meal there. Too bad it's lunch!

If I'm reading that brochure right, LeCellier is still one credit for lunch, only takes two credits for dinner, right?

Looks like early December dates are no longer considered "value season", there is now a new season for 2011 "fall season". Depending on the resort, looks like the fall season rates are much higher than this year's value season for early December.

Anyone know what discount is offered with AAA during this new fall season for 2011?
