Departure day from Philadelphia Int'l Airport into MCO departing at 7:10pm.
Well work day was uneventful, just tried to get all my work caught up so there would be no worries while I was away. Got home about 12:30 and changed out of my work clothes and packed the last minute items. Had to swing by the bank and to my friends house to pick up some flight help (aka Xanax!) and then home to pack up the car. We were on the road by 2:20. We arrived off-site parking about 4 (due to traffic) and were on our way to the airport in no time. We were through security and sitting by our gate by 5:30ish. My DD and DH got something to eat and I, with my fear of flying opted out! We boarded and in the air about 30 min behind schedule thanks to Philly's on-time record, haha.
Flight was uneventful, thankfully, and we landed in Orlando ahead of schedule. We had the absolute funniest flight attendant on board. He was cracking jokes the entire flight and upon landing made a galloping horse sound the entire landing until the plane stopped. Then said "Hey Wilbur". A few funny comments: "We would like to welcome you to beautiful Tahiti, but we can't cause you came to Orlando". And my favorite, "we are proud sponsors of the no child left behind program, so please make sure you take your children, we don't want them either". He actually made my flight a little better.
We retrieved our luggage and were checked into Hyatt International Airport Hotel and back downstairs to grab something to eat by 10pm. Then it was off to bed. I was so tired and couldn't wait to drift off to sleep...but my DD kept me up most of the night. She was having a anxiety attack over not being able to fall asleep and therefore could not sleep. It was a long night, and DD and I did not sleep much at all! Hope this does not continue for the entire trip!
