Default Must have FOODS while in WDW

I don't necessarily mean restaurants but specific foods that you really look forward to having on your trip? I remember awhile back there was a whole thread on Dole Whips. Any foods you can get only at specific parks or restaurants? I for one, LOVED the STRAWBERRY SOUP at Grand Floridian!!!

My family used to inisist on eating the fudge sold in the candy shop. It didn't seem like we were at Disney until we had some fudge. Of course this was after a Dole Whip. We recently shared the Dole Whip secret with some friends. They understood after one taste.
Then there is Casey's, and popcorn while waiting for the Electric Parade. Memories, aren't they grand?
Your attention please, the Walt Disney World Railroad is now boarding for a trip around the Magic Kingdom

    Mickey-shaped Rice Krispy treats.

I know you can get Rice Krispy treats anywhere...they just taste better shaped like Mickey.

Oh, and vegetable soup at Sunshine Seasons.

I agree, that is on my list also. I usually bring several home with me also.

    Also,
-Mickey pretzels (same concept, they taste better when shaped like mickey)
-Chip & Dale co Spicy Mickey Mix
-Chocolate covered mickey pretzels they sell prepackaged in the bags decorates for Christmas
-Popcorn while watching the nightly parade (I like hardly ever eat popcorn, but i swear that popcorn taste so much better than any other popcorn)

I have yet to try the fudge, so that is on my list for my upcoming trip.

Btw, I just opened my last bag today of Spicy Mickey Mix that my dad bought me back in Feburary when he was in Florida on a business trip, He wasn't even visiting WDW that trip (Shameful i know!) but he was going right by WDW one day of his trip and picked up some of my favorite snacks for me.

Any way, I am enjoying my Spicy mickey mix, it makes me feel like I am at Disney. LOL!

Only 144 more days to go until WDW!!

    1) Ghirardelli's quake shake, any flavor (I may be off on the name). Always go through for the samples when Downtown.

    2) Dole whip (tried the citrus this year also..very good)

    3) Earl of Sandwich is a multiple stop for us. (any sandwich, just have to stop).

    4) The girls get fudge at the candy counter in Studios.

    5) Popcorn for all parades.

Yall are reminding me of a couple of mine I forgot to mention:

Sour Kraut dogs on Main St. Just the smell of sour kraut makes me think of MK.

Ghiradelli's used to be a tradition with my husband and I as a late night treat after the parked closed. Now that we have kids we pretty much go straight to the hotel since they are already sleeping!

There is an Earl of Sandwich near our house but I refuse to eat there here (never have)....I only want to go to the one at DTD. Maybe this upcoming trip we will make it. haha

    Another vote for Dole Whips!

And I agree - anything shaped like just tastes better.

DH is a little upset that they got rid of the catfish at Garden Grill, but I'm sure he'll manage A few extra orders of beignets will fill the hole!

My favorite dinner anywhere is the grilled mahi-mahi with pineapple chutney from the Coral Reef. I have never eaten anything that good anywhere. Oh, and a Dole Whip float!

I love Dole Whips, I always have to get a chocolate croissant from the Main Street Bakery (they're so good, I swear I dream about them between trips), a frozen chocolate covered banana in the Animal Kingdom, and pretty much anything at Boma.
