The CS thread runs for another week, so if you haven't been there yet, pop on over. Still time.

I'll have our TS results posted on Monday. If you post over the weekend, I will still manage to add your choices to the final tally.

Here we are! At last, the results! (drumroll please). The Great 8 According to Us in WDW Table Service Dining!

    Tied at 8:
    8) 50’s Prime Time Cafe (16 votes)
    8) Liberty Tree Tavern (16 votes)

    7) Narcoossee's (17 votes)

    Tied at 6:
    6) Chefs de France (18 votes)
    6) Teppan Edo (18 votes)

    5) Artist Point (19 votes)

    Tied at 4:
    4) California Grill (24 votes)
    4) Crystal Palace (24 votes)

    Tied at 3:
    3) Boma (25 votes)
    3) Kona Café (25 votes)

    2) 'Ohana (39 votes)

    1) Le Cellier (41 votes)

Now, there are actually more than 8 restaurants listed due to ties. In the past, we've done tie-breaker rounds, and I thought that I would, too. But that would knock some off the list, and if they honestly earned as many votes as others, I believe they all deserve to be there.

When we're putting together our dining lists, don't we want to know if one rates as well as or higher than others by general consensus? Sure we do. So I think this is the fairest, most complete way to present the results. No tie-breakers. Ties are allowed to stand. If there's lots of disagreement with that, I can run some tie-breakers. But for now, this is our own definitive Great 8.

What's changed? The venerable Chef Mickey's (15 votes) has fallen off the list, along with Garden Grill (9 votes). Kona Cafe and Boma move up a few notches in our esteem while California Grill has moved down one. Crystal Palace, Artist Point, Teppan Edo, and Chefs de France are new entries (though Crystal Palace and Teppan Edo have been on and off the list in previous years).

What has stayed the same? Le Cellier and 'Ohana still sit securely at the top.

I hope you enjoyed our survey. Thank you for taking part. The CS Thread is still running, so go on over and make your picks.

THanks for posting the results. I must say I am shocked that Whispering Canyon isn't on the list. I thought it was a favorite for most people.

Whispering Canyon Cafe got 12 votes. Sometimes, it is surprising to see what makes it, what doesn't. But it doesn't mean there's any less love for a place. Our results are hardly scientific, unfortunately.

For one thing, I notice that sometimes, votes are in clusters- like a previous poster said Boma so suddenly it's on a few lists in a row, and then it doesn't get mentioned for a while. I think sometimes, we're reminded of our favorites by what we see previous posters mention. And sometimes, we forget to mention a favorite because it doesn't come to mind. And, not all of our population offered input. Some people didn't take part, perhaps because the thread didn't interest them or get noticed when they were online, or they haven't been here in awhile. But this is my best attempt at getting a lot of us to respond and decide on a list in a given frame of time. We'll do it again next year and see how things change. Flawed as it is, I hope we've all had fun, and it does offer a general idea of how things stack up for us.

Thanks again for doing this for us this year, Sherri. It's a lot of fun to see the results. There are only 2 I disagree with and 1 where we haven't gone to yet.

Yeah, there are a few I would have changed around, if it were entirely up to me. But the people have spoken!

Thanks for doing this. I'm glad to see my two favorites- Boma and Kona- sharing the bronze medal.
