Default Going to EPCOT on Memorial Day Weekend

I'm going down to Orlando for a wedding on Memorial Day weekend. I'm sure that weekend is absolutely crazy busy, yet I'm still wanting to go to WDW one day while I'm down there! I was wondering if anyone has experience going to the World on Memorial Day weekend and what to expect? We are thinking of doing EPCOT on Sunday May 30th or Monday May 31st. Are we insane?

Never been to Epcot on Memorial weekend, but we have been there at Easter and Christmas, and I can't imagine that Memorial weekend would be worse. And both of those trips were manageable because we got there early and used FP's. So, as long as you either have a plan, or don't hope to try to do everything, you'll be fine.

We were there MD weekend in 2006 & it was the most crowded that we've ever experienced! But we usually visit in early May when kids aren't out of school yet, so I'm sure that there are times that it's way more crowded. Yes, it was super busy, but we arrived at park openings, used FP's and we had a great time of course because we were in WDW! Utilitizing FP's, I still don't think we ever waited in a SB line over 30 minutes +/-. It seemed like where we really "felt" the crowds the most was at the resort, pool, food court, etc! It's very doable & I wouldn't hesitate to make some Disney memories just because it'll be a little more crowded, you should go & have a magical trip!

    Thanks!

I'm worried it'll be crazy, but I'm hoping EPCOT will be less crowded than the other parks... *fairy dust*

We go over for at least one day wach Memorial Day weekend. This year we were going to MK, but have decided to stay home. This year we are painting the master bath. Whoopee. MK or painting, which would you choose?
Anyway, it is always a bit crowded and this year will probably be no different. Have fun!
Your attention please, the Walt Disney World Railroad is now boarding for a trip around the Magic Kingdom
