    Default Central Wyoming-Sleep/Eat/See

We will be dropping down through central wyoming (through Thermopolis and then on down to Cheyenne) on the way back from a church trip to Montana...anyone got any suggestions for good places to stay, eat in that area. Would also like to hear about any "little known must sees" in the area. Will be there in mid July.

Depending on when you are going through Cheyenne you might be in town for Cheyenne Frontier Days. The have the biggest rodeo around. The only downside is it would be hard to find a place to stay. Would you be coming down into Colorado? There is a hotel about 20 minutes south of the state line. I will need to think about other things to do. There is an Air Force base.

Laramie: Snowy Range and Old Territorial Prison.

Guernsey: Oregon Trail wagon ruts, you won't believe your eyes.

Fort Laramie: Fort Laramie National Historic Site, another often missed gem.

Be sure to watch for Pronghorn along the roadsides all thoughout Wyoming.
