I am thinking about going this week this year. Can someone tell me how the crowds are? Are you coming in after all the spring breakers?

We r also coming April 17-26. From what I have heard there are some schools on spring break, but not as many as Easter week. I an hoping for great weather and moderate crowds!

Crowds are so-so. Not too heavy, but not light. You catch some spring breakers. You'll also have to deal with a couple of grad nights.

Checking the park operating hours are usually a good indicator of what Disney things crowd levels will be like. If they are open late, expect larger crowds.

In '05 the crowds seemed fairly heavy, but it was our first trip to WDW so not sure if my reaction was tainted.

In '08 the crowds were very reasonable. Longest wiat time I remember was SM at 70 minutes. EE was the same.

You have a bunch of the NE schools on spring break then. It's crowded, but not all that bad. We just use fast passes and make use of the EMH hours. I think that week there is also Grad Night so MK closes early on those days (or at least the past couple of years we've been down).

I love that time of year. We went last year, and now we're going back. It's crowded due to NE school breaks, but not unbearably crowded. A good plan will help you get around without being bothered by crowds and the weather is gorgeous.

There are a lot of local school crowds, too, for some reason-- seemed like a lot of grad parties about to start or maybe just field trips, but lots of big groups of kids in matching tees charging around. They were not a problem.

That's around the time we went for our first two trips. Personally, I loved it. It was hot, but not too hot. It was crowded, but not too crowded. During the middle of the day, about 12-4, it gets really busy, but in the early morning the parks were almost empty. It's a wonderful temperature at night too. Just plan well and you'll avoid the crowds.
