    Default Seaworld/Universal combo?

I am thinking about driving from Atlanta to Orlando on a Thursday night during Spring break; going to Seaworld on Friday; checking into one of the Universal resorts Friday night and doing the two Universal parks on Saturday and Sunday. Monday we plan to head to Disney World. Is there any reason we should stay at the Univeral resort on Thursday night to have some advantage ticket wise at Seaworld or is it okay for us to stay at a budget motel on Thursday night? Does three days sound like enough time for Seaworld, IOA and Universal?

Three days is plenty, provided you dont want to do Aquatica or Discovery Cove. With staying at a Universal Resort, you get the unlimited Express Pass which is heavenly. You can, and probably will, be able to do every major attraction multiple times at both parks in one day, and get a nap in. With the exception of starting our trip in Tampa, you are doing the same thing we usually do when we go down.

Also, FYI Universal's ticket package will give you access for 7 days (for the price of 2) so you can hit those parks in the morning while you wait for the check in time to come at your Disney Hotel.
