Universal tickets expiration?

I want to buy my niece a ticket to universal for 2 parks for 7 days for her bday. Not sure when she is going to go though, does anyone know if the ticket expires or does it just expire 6 days after the first use?

It expires on the 6th day after the first day you use it. For example if she used the ticket for the first time on Monday Oct 5th it would expire after Sunday Oct 11th whether she used it for all seven days or not.

The last time we went to Universal I bought the tickets 6 months in advance online because the price had dropped to $79 per ticket. I printed the tickets at home. The only thing I didn't like was that you ticket was a full sheet of paper that you had to bring with you to the gate each day. I had four sheets (tickets) so that was a little bulky trying to fold them into my wallet but you couldn't beat the price.
