    Default Legal Photos questions

Do you own the rights to personal vacation photos taken at Disney?
Can you sell an item that has an image of a personal photo you have taken at Disney?
What about the Photopass? Is there any difference with photos on the photopass, since you are purchasing the rights to those photos?

Photos of Disney property cannot be sold. Disney is very protective of it's property.
    Strange but true.

I would ask someone with more legal authority than on a forum. The pictures you took belong to you.

While you do own the rights to photo's that you take you can't publish or sell photo's that contain anything which is copyrighted.
For example, buildings may or may not be trademarked or copyrighted but the design is. So you can bet any Disney building, ride or landmark is off limits for any type of profit.

If you're considering selling your pictures on stock photography sites I can guarantee they will be rejected if they contain any trademarked or copyrighted structure within the picture once it's reviewed.

Also, where do I find out what buildings/ structures are copyrighted?
I read that includes places such as the Hollywood sign in California.
