Trip without Family

I'm going to be going to the D23 Expo and will be going with some friends and my dh and dds will be staying home. I feel really weird about this. We will go to the parks one evening, and will spend the rest of the time at the events and in DTD. I am super excited about going, but the thought of leaving the family behind makes me a little sad. We will be going back as a family in October, and then again in December, so it really shouldn't be that big of a deal.
