On another site, a poster who just got back from POP said POP food court did not have the Icees for the kids. Anyone else know this for sure?

Yes, I am talking about the frozen Icees they had at the food court and the kids could use their refillable mugs and have a frozen Coke or Blue Rasberry.

    Sadly they are no more.

I'll miss bringing one back to the room after a long day at the parks.

I hope they bring them back soon. That was the only reason we got the refillable mugs for the kids. They will be really bummed if they can't have their daily slurpees.

I called the POP Century Resort this morning. As you all know, you can call any resort's direct number but the CMs who answer are general resort operators for all Disney resorts. These operators know absolutely nothing. I can ask any question and they give you a generic "safe" answer. I did not give up and called the POP resort phone number two more times. Finally, the CM said she was going to send me right to the POP resort. I was connected to Gina and when I asked the question about the Icees she was nervous and put me on hold for a really long time. She came back to the phone and said the Icee Machine has been removed and it is permanent. Persistence paid off this time on this smaller issue.

In Decmber they were broken almost my entire trip and I asked a CM and they told me they are constantly breaking down and expensive to maintain and most likely they would be removed in the future so it really doesn't surprise me especially with all the recent cutbacks at WDW.
