Your never going to believe it! I want to tell you before you hear it somewhere else.

I went to a WHL game last night. Yes, you heard correctly. I was at a Hockey game, in an arena, with real ice.

And.. wait for it.

I actually enjoyed it!
Of course it was game 6, third period ended in a tie, into overtime and the Kelowna Rockets won the Championship and are heading to the Memorial Cup. The crowd was in a frenzy. So, now, I actually know how the game is played and was able to follow along and have a deeper understanding.

To make it better.. as the third period finished in the tie I received a text message telling me I had a new Great nephew.
