Spring Training

As a lifelong Phillies' fan (okay 33 years), I do not think I have come down from cloud 9 since October 29th, 2008 at 10:29 PM.

But the moment I have waited for is finally here. In less than 48 hours, I am on my way to Spring Training. Leaving Philly at 4 o'clock on Thursday 3/26. Thursday night, my buddy and my uncle are probably heading to watch Nova beat up on Duke. Then Friday head over to the Carpenter Complex to watch a minor league game. That night I am seeing the Reds play the Yanks at Legends Field in Tampa. Saturday, we have tickets to see the Tigers play the Blue Jays. (BOOOOOOOO Scott Rolen). Sunday, the Red Sox play the Phillies and Monday the Astros play the Phils.

No work for 4 days. No wife complaining for 4 days. Baseball and Beer and probably not in that order.

Come home Monday night and 6 days later head to CBP for the Season Opener of the 2008 World Champions.

Put me in coach, I am ready to play....today!!!!!

We are moving to Tampa this summer, and my whole family is salivating at the idea of spring training next year.

Have fun. DH & I keep saying we'll go to spring training to see the Red Sox. I think that would be so much fun. Can't wait for the season to begin.

How was it!?? The boys are back in town now... we are going to the first pre season game tonight. World Series re match! The return of Burrell! God I love baseball.
