Default Every Tree Has Character Bags (Merged Threads)

Here I go again! I am obsessed with getting one of these bags! Luckily, I will be going to WDW next Saturday for a quick visit before going to my sister's in West Palm. Anybody remember where I can get one of these bags? I know that there were limited locations I can't seem to find the information.
    Thanks!

I bought mine at DHS at the first store on your left after you get into the park "Mickey's Of Hollywood" it's on the left across the street from the "dark room" store

My aunt went to WDW a couple of months ago, and I had her pick me up a bunch! She got them at Mousegears in Epcot

Thanks for the info! I am hitting Epcot first to do Soarin' so Mousegears will be my second stop! I am so excited! Do you recall if there were any locations in Downtown Disney?

I didn't see any. I believe that they are a "theme park exclusive" product.

Yes, both the World of Disney store and the Christmas store had them when I got mine last week.

This is going to sound really stupid, but what exactly are these bags? We're going to DW 5/22 and I would like to see these, and it would help to know exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks!

I second that! WIth a description I may have some clue what you are talking about, but as it stands I am lost! Trees with bags? What? Am I being dumb or is this a new item?

They are green canvas tote bags. On each side is a tree, the leaves are actual little mickey ears. Towards the bottom it says "Every Tree Has Character"

(I'm *think* this link is OK, since it to the picture from the official Disney site, but if not, mods, I'm sorry!) http://psc.disney.go.com/eventservic...usablebag.html

They are fairly thin, but super-cute!

They are very nice- but they are NOT canvas.
They are great to use in the grocery store in place of paper or plastic bags. Many locgrocery chains sell bags of the same material for about 99 cents. (Target sells red bags of the same material near their check out counters)
These bags are $3 I think. I bought 2 in January and use them for grocery shopping. I get comments on them all the time!

WOD in DTD was offering a new twist to this bag a few weeks ago. The color is a darker green and the Mickey "tree" is bigger. I have both and I think I like the newer one better.

    Talking Mickey Tree Bags

With these bags, I must give up my paper and plastic. These are so cute, it will confirm that I am a Disney fanatic.
Everyone at work always comes to me for WDW advice. I hope I don't steer them in the wrong direction.
Keep smiling and Have a magical day!!!
    It's all good.

We love to serve fun, food, and deliciousness.

Does anyone know if they're strong enough to hold a few books?

It depends on the type of books i suppose. They are pretty light weight and i wouldn't want to risk breaking the bag so i try to not put anything too heavy in it.

Ok, thanks! I'm definitely going to check these out when we get there. They're so cute! We often walk to the market or the drug store here, so I could definitely put them to good use.

I am definately going to get a few of these on my next trip. I have a few reusable ones for the grocery store so I will get these for shopping at places like Target etc.

Thanks for the post. I never knew they existed and they are so cute. I have been looking for a generic reusable bag that I can use everywhere and I think I have found it. I feel funny using a whole foods reusable bag at walmart. Just wondering how long will these be offered we are going in December but my aunt's goinging in May should I get her to get them for me?
