Default Disney March Madness Lady and The Tramp vs. Pocahontus

And so round one is in the books. Now lets get the madness in full gear as round two kicks off with a great matchup.

There should be some close calls in round two just as there was in round one. The 16 films that recieved bye's in round one make their debuts.

Lady and The Tramp (1955) was a box office smash for Disney pulling in more money than any Disney movie since Snow White. It was re-released four times in theatres.

Pocahontas (1995) was a box office hit as well, winning two Acadamy awards for its musical score. The film may be remembered more for the sound track which was certified triple platinum.

While I do love the soundtrack for Pocahontas, there's just something about the Tramp!

voted for Lady and Tramp. Pocahontas came out during the Political Correctness years and Disney let this story get affected by it.

No doubt in my mind. Pocahontas was a decent movie, Lady and the Tramp was a classic.
