My first trip was 1988 during Christmas. I was in 8th grade, we drove down and stayed in Cocoa Beach and drove to Orlando. I remember loving that I was swimming on Christmas Day.

Our first trip was in 1983. Only MK and EPCOT were open, and we stayed at the Contemporary. Our kids were 10 & 12. We stayed five days, and it was truly magical. Our first ride was the one they tore down and replaced with Test Track. (Oh, the aged mind is soooo disconnected). Every trip is special, but that one was so memorable.

i went to WDW for the first time in 1977 at 4 years old. i would NOT get off cinderella's golden carousel. a few years later we went for the opening of Epcot. My dad got us a room at the contemporary with a view of the MK for one night during our stay. i remember him telling me and my brother that it cost 100 dollars. i remember thinking that was SO MUCH MONEY i just couldnt believe it!!! the lines were soooo long at Epcot for the rides... but i absolutely LOVED everything there. for some reason i have very clear memories of World of Motion. needless to say i've been hooked for a long time.

My first trip was in the early '80's, I think 1985. I was 3 at the time and the only things I really remember were riding Dumbo and chasing down Goofy (for some reason I don't remember Mickey at all!). Mom still laughs at Dad because he was from WV where, at least at that time, "real men" did not wear shorts. She said he was about the only person there in jeans! Since then he has agreed to at least where shorts on vacation. Our next trip I was in 3rd grade and got to get out of school 2 days early...I bragged about that! I remember that trip a lot more!

My first trip was in 1977 - I was 7 years old and my whole family went (all 7 kids and my parents). My Dad had a business trip at various places in the South so we packed up the car, hooked up the pop up trailer and away we went for 3 weeks, with our main destination being WDW. We were not originally staying in Fort Wilderness, but after having to leave a scary campground outside of New Orleans, we moved to a new campground and met this great family from California (whom my parents kept in touch with all these years). They were supposed to be meeting family at FW, but they cancelled, so since they still had the reservation, they gave it to my parents! I don't remember very much, but I do remember being bitterly disappointed Cinderella's castle was not a "real" castle to explore - and I remember Chip or Dale stealing my seat at the movie at FW. This trip took place during the NYC blackout of '77 and our new friends had this little black and white TV and I remember all the adults grouped around it watching the news from NY!!

1975 as a 16 yr. old, I won a trip to Disney World - it was only the Magic Kingdom at that point. Trip was not offered in 76, but I won it again in 77 and 78.
While I don't miss the A-E tickets, they did make you think about what rides and how often you could ride on each one.

I was 12, it was 1977, and I was forever smitten. I got a plain white Mickey Tee shirt and now my DD, age 12 wears it at night to sleep with her PJ bottoms. I'll never part with it!

It was 1976, my parents and my sister drove down from NJ in a car with vinyl seats and no air conditioning! We stayed at a Days Inn outside the park. I remember my favorite ride was Pirates and HM. We also went to River Country. The next time was in 1986 on my honeymoon.
