I think tinkwest, Janet, Mufasa, and Nascfan all deserve an extra point for being the only ones to pick up on the "Minneapolis" thing.

Hmmm, didn't catch that one. Very often, Pittsburgh gets spelled wrong - I always fix that!

Thanks Ian, math looks right! It looks like if New Orleans wins then Jen wins outright, if Minnesota wins then it comes down to points with Jen and Mufasa!

Haha, me too Linda, me too.

I did my picks in about 5 minutes Sunday morning, and I did the best I've done all season. I think I'll adopt that strategy from here on out. Too much thinking spoils the picks.

I employed the same strategy except I did mine Saturday am. It worked great - no thinking, just picked one based on my gut feeling.

    Cool

I employed the "George Costanza Method" of selecting games ... whichever side my gut told me was going to win, I picked the other side.

And you know what? I did the best I've done in weeks. I wish I had used that method for the Miami game, but I felt foolish picking them to win.

    Silly me.

I think I need to start picking who I actually think will win instead of who I want to win. Perhaps I haven't grasped this game very well.

You sound like the fans I was sitting by at Lambeau on Sunday. Rodgers puts up 300 yards w/ 2 touchdowns and a passer rating in the 100's and they were calling for his head. I found it ironic because the Pack was down 10-0 when they started complaining yet the Pack had the ball for only one series. I turned and asked them, if Brett was here would he have played D so Atlanta wouldn't have scored 10? The O line ***** and the D is giving up 190 yards rushing on average the last four games. Then the fact that there have been a lot of horrible untimely penalties on this team that have killed drives or helped the other team. Unless Favre could go play the D-line & O-line the team wouldn't be any better off. The difference this year from last is the injury bug. Al Harris is out which is a devastating injury, the D-line is depleted and can't stop a thing and AJ Hawk is banged up. Last year the Packers D was giving up a lot less points. And then there is the running game. Grant held out and missed training camp and the pre season. The Pack can't run the ball and in part it's because he wasn't in shape and pulled the hamstring.

So we have a beat up o-line that can't make holes or pass block and a running back who wasn't ready at the start of the season. We have a D line that can't stop the run or get much pressure on the QB, our star DB is out and we're starting an incompetent back up. Matt Ryan looked like a seasoned veteran against our secondary. Yes the Pack are loosing games but I wouldn't say that it's because Brett's not here. In fact, Rodgers has been pressured often and escaped because of his feet something Favre couldn't. He has had 4 very good games and one poor game. In the poor game he was beaten up & hit way to often becasue the O-line couldn't protect him. Brett wasn't perfect every game either.

Considering this is Rodgers first year and he is putting up great numbers with all the off season turmoil and injuries around him I think he is doing an amazing job.
