So the princess had her servants draw the prince a bath and lay out fresh clean clothes for him.

He also had a hard time fitting his platform shoes (with the goldfish in the heels) into the stirrups, so he kicked thm off.

As he raised his arm to comb his hair, the comb began to glow bright green.
