How do I do a room request?

I have a 2BR booked for BWV in January. Do I just call member services and they will add it to my vacation?? I just want a top floor. Have boardwalk view booked.

Well, let me say this. You can request it. But as far as I know, and as far as we have been told in the past. They cannot guarantee that you will be able to definitely get that. But again Im not one-hundred percent positive. But in the past, those requests are sometimes issued with a maybe lol...But its definitely worth the shot. Whats the worst that can happen? lol. But if I am wrong about requesting specific floors someone will be along shortly to correct me. Have a blast at the boardwalk!

Just realized you said you will be there in January. Me and DBF will be there as well! When are going? We are also staying at the BWV. My first year as a DVC member! YAY! We will be there from the 6th-16th.

Hi Tracy,
I know this is a DVC question, but wanted to tell you what I experienced in August. I faxed my room request to the Poly 2x, also had it noted on my Ressie., and I triple checked the request was noted. Upon check in, there was absolutely no record of any request. They told me then, the ONLY SURE WAY to get your request on your reservation is to call the front desk of the resort yourself a few days out. Hope that helps. I am doing that from now on.

Call member services and have them note your ressie with the top floor request. They will tell you that it is not guaranteed to be filled, but I have done it it my requests have been done. I have found that it is easier to be filled if we arrive early in the day and do not mind waiting for our room! Good Luck!

Thanks for the info!!! We are arriving the night before, staying at SSR, so I can check in early (not that I think the room will be ready) and then head to EPCOT!!

I always request top floor at BWV w/reserved boardwalk view. I've only been lucky to actually get it once. Most of the times I'm on 3 or 4, which isn't bad. The only time I wasn't happy was when I was on 2 above Big River Grill. It was in the summer and people were outside talking way past midnight.

Thanks, that's what I called and asked for, just a top floor. We have BW view booked. I can't wait!!
