A Thursday trip report from Genie

[Blue Genie]

Me and my mom and dad when to Disneyland on a Thursday for a change we got to the park around 11:00am. The first place that I when to was the Empolum to see if they had the new Ariel movie out. So when I when in there I didn't see it there so I when to the story where has all the statues and paintings at they didn't have it as well. So then I when to the music store same thing. So as I was leaving and about to go back in the Empolum store I happen to see Bert walking out by himself. At first I wasn't going to get my picture taken with him but when I saw him by the Donald and Steve Martian show all by himself with nobody coming up to him I change my mine. So as I got up to him I said to him. Looks like your all by yourself I stay with you for a little bit. He said that Mary Poppins would be out soon. So after I got my picture taken with him.

I said my goodbyes and I said I hope some more people would come up to you. He said I hope so to. As I was walking away I turn around to see if anyone was going to him and there still wasn't anyone with him I got out of sight so I don't no if people where coming up to him or not. So after I leave like I said I was going over to the Faire as I was walking to there I had to stop by the former meet and greet with Ariel to see it personal how sad it is to see it close up I took about 3 pictures of it.

So after I walk and took pictures I may my way to the Princess. I got to the line about 12noon and when I was in line I saw walking out of the PFF (Hold your Stitch 2.0 Dan tie.) Princess Minnie. So of chourse I couldn't get her. The line was about a 40 min. long. So as I got to the front it was my turn in. The first Princess that I met was Snow White.

She saw my NEW Princess Aurora shirt I had on and she ask me. I see Aurora is your favorite. I told Snow that she is my love. So after I got done with Snow I took my fanty pack and sat it down on a bench next to Snow White and Aurora spot. So you guess it. Aurora was the next one to meet. She ask me how I was doing I said pretty good. As of right now I don't remember what we really talk about. But here are a few pictures with her.

After I said my goodbyes to her up next was Mulan. I was in line for Mulan she saw me staing there so after she got done talking to two little girls it was my turn. She had ask me what my name is. I told her and after I told her she saw my Aurora shirt as well. She goes you like Aurora I go yeah I do. Then all of a sunned Mulan when crazy on me, She goes like. Nobody never likes me, nobody ever has shirts with me on it. U don't like me cause I'm a worrior and not a Princess. I'm stronger then them. I told her no your not I like you. She was letting me have it. I had so much fun with her she may my day.

So after we had a little play fight I said my goodbyes to her and when I left I was putting my camera back in my pack when I was starting to leave I saw walking in to take Mulan's Aurora's & Snow White's place.

After I got the pic I when to Toontown to see that make a Mickey ears at first I wasn't going to buy anything but just to look to see what it is like. Well I happen to see stuff I like so I got one that I have made. You will see the hat on on these next photos that I have coming up.

So after I may the hat it was time to go have something to eat. So I when to the Thunder Range to have some Taco salad and a chocolate cake. Boy was it good. After I had lunch I was going over to DCA for a little bit to ride Monster Inc. As I was walking out of the tunnle on Main Street I saw a small crowd by the tree. So I stop for a minute to see what was going on. When this lady move I saw a pink dress in the crowd. I knew who it was before she stold up. So I got in line to get another picture with Aurora again. I was waiting in line and she had seen me and she told the people that I have been in line for a wild and it was my turn. It was like about in line for about 5 minutes. So anyways. When I look at her I knew I had seen this Aurora some where before. Aurora had seen my shirt and said to me I really like your shirt but your blue with me is my favorite. At first it didn't ring a bell I was like thank you. But then she ask me do you have one in my purple dress I told her no I couldn't fine that one. She said I really like the purple and the blue dress I ware better, Then she was talking about her dress she had for the Christmas Fantasy Parade a could years ago and talk about the dress she had for Parade of the Stars. When she was talking about her purple dress I knew who this Aurora was. It's the one that is from the Parade of Dreams and it's the same one that I took early this month which is the Aurora on my signure. I was happy to acturelly [ms] to talk to her.

When we last left off. I just got my 2nd and 3rd photo with Aurora. So I when over to DCA for a little bit to go on Monsters Inc. and when I got to there over where the old Who wants to be A Million building is at I happen to see Aladdin and Jasmine so I when over to see them Aladdin also saw my shirt and said you like Aurora I said yes I do. I told him what Belle told me a few months ago that she said that Aurora is my girl.

Jasmine had told me that Aurora was in the draw to magic show today. So after I got my photo with them I when on Monsters Inc. then I when to the Draw to Magic cause I meet a lady there with Aladdin and Jasmine who she is a huge fan of theres. She show mw all her pictures that she has with them and she wanted to see the show cause she wanted to get a picture with Peter Pan who was in the show. So we sat and watch the show but Aurora wasn't out for this show it was Cinderella. I when up to her and got my picture with her. She told me I had nice ears.

So after I got the photo I was on my way back to DLR for the parade as I walk in I saw walking out from the back Cruella but this was not the same that knew me it was another one cause she snape at me she said do you really love Aurora ugly she said. But after we pass I happen to see walking out from the Mad Hatter shop the Fairy Godmother. I told her that it's been awild send I had a photo taken with you. She ask me if I wanted one I told her yes please.

So after Fairy Godmother I when on to the photo shop place to sit down to watch the parade. I was wondering if the Aurora I saw outside of Main Street was going to be in the parade. when her float came up I took this pic of Aurora.

I could tell it wasn't the same for two reasons. 1. She didn't look at me at all and 2. Her eyes where differnt. This Aurora had bigger eyes then the other one I like. So after the parade was done I when on some rides for a wild until about 5:00. So then I headed back to PFF to see if I could get Ariel and Belle send I really didn't get them the first time around. When I got up front and it was my turn the first one was Cinderella.

We just said hello and how are you we didn't really talk until the end when I mistake calling her Snow White for the second time. She goes that's ok I get that alot. I told her but I better then that I know my Princess and I shouldn't of call you that. She just cave me a big smile. Just like I did early when I was there I put my bag down and I when up to Aurora again. I said to her I'm back again and she said to me I see u grew ears this time. I told her that I put my two favorite Princess on it. She said who is your first favorite I told her you. She said I though I was your second I when no your my first Ariel is my second.

Then after was down it was u guess it Mulan again. She goes are you back again I said yes cause I though Airel and Belle was going to be here this time. She goes well are you disapointed about it. I said yeah I was giving Mulan a hard time send she was doing it with me the first time when I was there.

I tell you I had so much fun with Mulan. She ask me after the pictures was done when I be back I told her maybe next month. Well after I said my goodbyes I met my family had dinner when on Tiki Tiki room then call it a night.

I still envy Genie's ability to hit DLR as often as her does... I'm seriously thinking that a move may be in order to place me closer to a Disney park in the very near future!

Genie, I was in Disneyland last Thursday too. I also saw Bert by the Emporium at that time of day.. did you walk right by me?? I would have loved to meet you.. maybe next time?

Patti when I saw Bert he was on the side where the Steve Martan and Donald Duck show is. If u look at the picture again you will see what I'm talking about.

Yep! That's where I was. I saw Bert and entered the building to see the 50 year display. We must have just missed each other.
