What kinds of candy given out at MNNSHP?

We're planning on going--we decided today!
Looking forward to trick or treating, but I'm fussy about candy. I HOPE there's lots of chocolate kinds, like Hershey bars and Snickers.
What specific kinds do they pass out?

Honestly, all I got was a weird cheeseburger gummy and about 100 full size bags of Kissables. I have heard they usually pass out great candy (Lots of yummy chocolate) but this was towards the end of October, so maybe they were running low, I don't know.

We have always gotten a variety of candy with lots of chocolate. We always go Halloween night so at the end of the night they are literally dumping candy into your bags trying to get rid of it all.

We have not been in a long time since 2004 but when we went we got full sized candy - lots of full size sweet-tart rolls and fun-dips. My kids were really excited. Have a great time!

When I worked it, I met a british family, and of all the great candies, m&ms, hersheys, etc...they wanted the tootsie rolls...thats right, the candy most kids here would through away for a butterfinger, they loved..."can we have some more chocolate logs" they kept asking me

We went and got a ton of good candy and some candy that none of us liked. We made fun of my sister cause she kept asking for the Reeses so everyone gave her a bag of Reeses candy with her Christmas present that year.

Dang, where exactly do you guys go? I was in Toontown and Liberty Square last year. Apparently I got ripped off. I am going again in a couple of weeks and I want some good candy!

Question: Was the bucket the receptable provided at MNNSHP? I was picturing carrying a plastic bag around.

Disney hands out a bag when you are first walking in...you can probably ask for two, if you need it. Or you can bring your own.

No no. They had that bowl on sale during the party. My roommate and I bought that to put our candy in and kept it on our coffee table. You do carry around little plastic bags. Here's a picture. Yes it's completely full. This bag was my candy and the bowl was my roommate's.

Yea we got a lot of raisins that year. On our way out they actually had a Snickers station by the turnstiles. They had wheelbarrows full of the funsized bars and were just throwing them in our bags. The thing is, I hate candies with nuts.

This is the exact question I answered last year when we got back from our trip and MNSSHP. I LOVE HALLOWEEN...ESPECIALLY HALLOWEEN CANDY! That being said, this was a fun thread for me to type up. Hope it helps and enjoy the party...btw we went at the end of Sept. so the selection was good, but we only got one bag of Kissables on the way out, which was just fine with us as we already had lots of candy! Have a great time!
