I believe the 60-65mph number was when it was rumored that the drop was going to be around 120 feet tall. 80 foot drop and 50mph sounds about right. But that top speed is only for a second before you go into the banked turn after the drop. The speed course after that drop goes pretty fast as well.
I believe its a round 50-55 mph, but it only reaches that after the drop.

50 to 55 mph is about right. Actually, the speed varies a bit depending on load and temperature. A fully loaded train on a very hot day is faster than a lighter load on a cooler day.
Last summer we had to dispatch each train with 12 empty seats in order to keep the speed down and avoid overshooting the stop at the top of the mountain. Since then an additional braking system has been installed, so the overshoot is no longer a problem.
