1st pre-trip report!

In one week, it will be 30 days till we go!

How did we get here? I work as a travel writer for various companies online. Up till now, I have been doing my articles off of research at home. (I have seizures and gastrointestinal problems, so traveling all the time isn't always an option).

Anyway, I got an opportunity to start doing field trip reports a couple of times a year to Disney-related events! I of course, Disneyphile that I am, jumped at the chance!

So, in just over 30 days, we (hubby and me) will be headed to Vegas on Sept. 28-30 and staying at the Luxor. We will be having dinner at Mon Ami Gabi and Bouchon's! I am hoping to get us tiks to see Criss Angel while we are there!

From Sept. 30-Oct. 5, we will be staying at Candy Cane Inn and going not just to DL, but also Sea World and Universal Hollywood! We have ressies at Goofy's Kitchen for brunch, Napa Rose, and Rainforest Cafe.

So, now it just comes down to a waiting game.

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll have a great trip.

Please tell us how it went when you get back. As I can't afford to travel as much as I'd like (who can?) I travel vicariously through trip reports. And there's no airport security to go through.

I stayed at the Luxor in April. If you are able to request a room in the new section - I would certainly do that. We had a room in the original section and had to ask to be moved. It was very run down.

The new area of the hotel was much better.

Amen to that ... run down is a polite way of saying it was a total disgusting DUMP. Request a Tower Room at the Luxor for sure. And good luck ... i will NEVER stay there again. One good point we did have several good meals at the 24 hour restaurant in casino!

We got tiks to see Criss Angel! Orchestra, section 101, section P, seats 4 & 5. I'm gonna move Bouchon to the night before cause our tiks are that night.

Sept. 28---Sun.--10:55 a.m.-11:55 a.m. flight to Las Vegas

Bouchon--5 p.m.

"Over 18 show" 10:30 p.m.---that's all I'm gonna say!


Sept. 29--Mon.--breakfast at pyramid cafe or wherever we decide.

touristy stuff..I know we want to see NYNY, Paris Las Vegas, MGM, fontains at Bellagio.

Spa at Luxor--3 p.m.

Delmonico 5 p.m.

Criss Angel's Believe 7 p.m.

Sept. 30--Tues.--10:05 a.m.-11:20 a.m. flight to LAX

shuttle to Disneyland!!!!!!

Parade of dreams at 7 p.m. at Disneyland!

Oct. 1--Wed.--Goofy's Kitchen 10:00 a.m.

Disneyland California Adventure!

Napa Rose 7 p.m.

Oct. 2--Thurs.

Don't know about this day. Thinking of taking a break, going to the beach or maybe Knotts Berry Farm or Sea World. Any ideas?

Universal Studios Day!!!!!!!!

Oct. 4--Sat. Last day at Disneyland/DCA.

9:25 p.m. Dreams do come true fireworks at Disneyland.

Oct. 5--Sun. home we go!
