    Default One Day Park Passes

A friend just called me while in route to Jekyll Island,GA. Her group has decided to take a day trip to WDW and want to know if there is anyplace to get discounted tickets. My searches have come up with nothing other than purchasing tickets at the gate unless they want to try some unscrupulous vendor in the area, which I do NOT recommend. Does anyone have any other ticket options?

There aren't many discounts available, particularly on one day tickets. Other than the unscrupulous dealers you mentioned, there's also time share presentations, but I put those in pretty much the same category based on an experience that I had years ago.

    1) If you REALLY need a discount, do a time share presentation.
    2) Sure, you will waste 1½-2 hrs.
    3) But, you get two free one-day tickets in most cases.
    4) Just keep saying "No".

    5) BY LAW, the presentation cannot go beyond their stated time.
    . . . they promise free tickets for a 1-hr spiel
. . . they must stop at 1-hr, if asked
. . . they must give you the promised premium
. . . they can lose their license to sell if they don't stop or give the premium
    6) Sure, some might not like the time.
    7) But, free tickets are free tickets!
