Tournament of Attractions!: FINAL: Tower of Terror VS Pirates of the Caribbean

After a couple of months worth of quarter-finals and semi-finals and regional finals...ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, may I present to you now...the TOURNAMENT OF ATTRACTIONS! FINAL!!!!!!

Over the past couple of months you've selected attractions which mean more to you than others. Some have been easy, some have obviously been more difficult too. Some of you went as far as saying you actually won't vote because both attractions mean so much! Which is amazing; it's great to see what WDW does to some of it's guests Here now...is the TOURNAMENT FINAL!

A recap of the ENTIRE tournament will be posted as a last farewell/finale to this tournament. It will recap all of the matches in the order they appeared in.

But before we look back on the tournament that was...it's time to get to the voting on the FINAL!

I LOVE both rides, but had to go with POTC! A true classic that I could ride over and over again!

I love both of them. But when I get off ToT I'm usually still laughing and I get right back on line for usually 2 or 3 more rides in a row.

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a POTC for me!!!

This was a tough one! I went on the TOT for the first time last year. But POTC is one of my all-time favorites, especially when they recently put Jack in!

Don't get me wrong, I love the TOT but POTC is a CLASSIC!!!!

You know these two are apples and oranges. I rode ToT once and thought it was everything was great EXCPT the dropping part (I’m a HUGE Chicken), so for that reason I had to pick POTC. I will usually ride Pirates several times each trip. I MAY try ToT one more time in the future but I doubt it.

But that's not fair, how am I supposed to choose I love them both...

It has to be TOT as any changes made to this ride have only enhanced it whereas POTC changes have not in my opinion added all that much.

I voted for Pirates mostly because it's a classic. The Tower is a favorite because of the Twilight Zone aspect not because of the dropping.

I went with POTC, it's a vintage dark ride with great attention to detail that everyone can ride and enjoy.

TOT is also a great ride and the attention to detail is awesome, it's only draw back is not everyone in my group can enjoy it.

In spite of my avatar, I picked ToT. Pirates is definitely in my top 5, but ToT is tied with Soarin' for Numero Uno!!!

Had to go with POTC. First ride I ever rode at Disneyland when I was 2 or 3. We all love TOT, so this was very hard. I had to go with the sentimental one.
