Default John Wayne Airport to Disney

What would be our cheapest option to get from the airport to our hotel near Disney? Would a cab be just a cheap as Super Shuttle?

    Default Super Shuttle

They have a website and you can get a free quote. I know for a certain age and under its free. You might check that out. We have always had great luck with it.

I have used both Super Shuttle and a cab from John Wayne Airport. On one of my visits there were just two of us so we used Super Shuttle for $20 one way for both of us. On another visit there were four of us so we took a cab which was just a little over the $40 that Super Shuttle would have cost; and we got to Disneyland very fast! With Super Shuttle you may have to wait for the van to fill with passengers going to the same area or the van may make multiple stops to hotels other than yours. In my experience the stops and the time it took were not excessive.

You can use Super Shuttle or you can also use the Disney Sponsored Disneyland Express operated by Grayline Tours. There have been lots of people that have used them with great success.

I personally refuse to use Super Shuttle in SoCal due to some really bad experiences, Prime Time Shuttle is a great alternative.

Taxi to the DLR is about $35-40 with tip.

Primetime has always been great, and less expensive!

Do I have to book in advance with Prime Time?

We used Supershuttle in June and had no problems. The shuttle filled up quickly and the time-frame from when we got on until we were dropped off at our hotel was only 25 minutes. And they were there at the hotel waiting for us at the scheduled time for the trip back.

I understand that the normal round-trip fare is $10 per person, but you pay $18 if you book ahead online.

I think she was referring to the price for 2 people...it would be $20 for 2 ($10 per person) people, but if you book ahead, it would be $18.
