    Default Do you walk...?

I was just wondering how many people take walks with their family to get ready for the 12-13 miles you walk at Disney each day! If so, when do you start doing this? A week before, month before? Does it even make a difference? Just wondering...

I don't take practice walks before I go, but I don't need to. I walk a lot around here because I don't have a car - I walk and use mass transit.

For a week a few months ago, I used a pedometer (step counter) on "normal" days. Each day I used it, I was over 20,000 steps.

I've found that preparing for the walk makes for a more fun trip. It is also incentive to get in a little better shape - it's much easier to do the preparation walk knowing a trip to Disney is in store. (I also listen to Disney music on my MP3 player which builds excitement for the trip).
Everybody's got a laughing place - trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it.

I voted no because like BronxTigger I walk EVERYDAY to and from the Bus/Train stops.

I probably walk an average of 2-3 miles a day EVERYDAY!

Well yes and no, I am a runner so I run a minimum of 5 miles a day, anyways.
    Loads of trips since 1974...
