Default Questions about the Hilton resort

We are planning on staying at the hilton by downtown disney on our trip dec. 23-26. I know that by staying there you get EMH benefits but I got a few questions:

    1. Do you get freee parking with staying there?
    2. How are the buses to and from the resort?
    3. How are the rooms?
    4. Are there any good breakfast or other dining places there?

thats all my questions for now.

Red face Question about Hilton Resort

(1)To my knowledge parking is free if you are staying there.
(2)The buses come at a scheduled time once an hour I believe but they may come more often depending on the time of the year. The bus stops at all the DT Disney resorts and sometimes Marriot Village. It can take awhile sometimes as long as 45 min to get to the park. My advise leave early. I think the bus transportation at the Disney resorts is much faster. The bus service was the only thing I did not like about staying in the DT Disney area.
    (3) The rooms are nice. The Hilton was one of the first really nice hotel built before all of the Disney resorts. They keep it updated. It is a hotel and does not have the Disney feel.
    (4) We only had lunch and it was good, expensive but good.

One nice thing about staying at the Hilton you can walk to DT Disney area.Several nice places to eat but all of them are expensive except McDonalds.

    have a great trip

    1) It is free to park at the Hilton. However, staying at the Hilton does not grant you free parking at the theme parks, to my knowledge.
2)I stayed here earlier this year. At that time, the buses for the DD hotels were split up between one side of Hotel Plaza Blvd and the other. So the bus for the Hilton was also servicing the Royal Plaza and the Doubletree only. There was another bus for the hotels on the other side of the street. That may just happen during busier periods, but I think your Christmastime visit would qualify as a busy period.
    3) I have stayed at the Hilton a few times and I have always found the rooms to be very clean.
    4) I have eaten breakfast a few times at the Covington Mill restaurant. It is good, but as the other poster mentioned, it can be pricey. The hotel next to the Hilton, the Royal Plaza, also offers a buffet breakfast that is good.

I hope this helps. I'm sure you will enjoy the Hilton.

They have a free parking lot and valet parking as well. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and of course close to DTD. We would walk there in the evening and it only took about 10 mins. The bus service was Ok but not great and ran about every 30-45 mins. It shares bus service with two other DTD resorts so you will make some stops. When you arrive at the bus stop at the theme parks it is not like staying on property. The stop is pretty much in the middle of the parking lot and you have to walk. All in all not a bad place but definitely not the same as staying on property.
