Default Tournament of Attractions!: AK quarter-final: Maharajah Jungle Trek VS Primeval Whirl

Welcome back to the Tournament of Attractions! on the INTERCOT Theme Park Forum. Time to leave the Magic Kingdom once again and head on over to Disney's Animal Kingdom for the 3rd quarter-final match in that region.

    TO RECAP:

    Epcot quarter-finals:

Spaceship Earth rolled over Mission: Space
Soarin' flew high above Ellen's Energy Adventure
American Adventure narrowly got by The Seas with Nemo & Friends
    (1 quarter-final match remains)

    DHS quarter-finals:

Rockin' RollerCoaster drove circles around the Great Movie Ride
Star Tours blasted the Back Lot Tour feat. Catastrophe Canyon
Voyage of the Little Mermaid sent Playhouse Disney for a refurbishment!
    (1 quarter-final match remains)

    MK quarter-finals:

The Haunted Mansion creeped out Space Mountain
Splash Mountain flooded the Country Bear Jamboree
Big Thunder Mountain held up against Peter Pan's Flight
    (1 quarter-final match remains)

    AK quarter-finals:

Expedition Everest dried up Kali River Rapids
It's Tough To Be A Bug squashed Dinosaur
(1 quarter-final match remains after this poll)

    UP NEXT:

We're had some interesting matches recently; they've been extremely close to extremely lop-sided. Let's see what happens as we face the Maharajah Jungle Trek against Primeval Whirl!

    WHAT TO DO:

Vote for which attraction you enjoy more.

The next poll (the last quarter-final match for Epcot) will be posted once this poll gets bumped to the second page of this forum.

Happy voting, and have a Disney Day!

I love Primeval Whirl, but DH hubby does not, so I have chosen something we can do together. MJT!! Love those tigers.

I wished I had found these tournies a little sooner.

The Whirl was one of our discoveries on our last trip. I think we rode 4 times in a row and we loved it! The jungle trek is great but can get very hot.

Maharajah Jungle Trek is why the park exists, its about the animals like the tigers. Got to support attractions that represent the theme.

Gotta give my vote to P.Whirl. While I think the theming of the area could be redone, the ride itself if AMAZING

I had to go with Maharajah Jungle Trek. I love the tigers, (Is this where the bats are too?) Primevil whirl is fun, but I am with the previous poster that carnival rides are not Disney.

I clicked on this thread expecting an one sided battle with Maharajah Jungle Trek in front, but I guess even an carnival-style ride can hold its own in a competition!

My vote would go for Maharajah Jungle Trek, it's something unique to do. If I wanted to go on a ride similar to Primeval Whirl I'd go to a carnival (or Disneyland which has a ride exactly like it).

Although I do think Primeval Whirl is fun to ride .
