    Default 4 Generations Mini Trip

    Cast:

    Me (#1disneyfan) 35
    DD 12
    DMom 55
    DGrandmom 79
    DNephew almost 2

    Plans:

A short trip to Florida to visit family. In the meantime, my mom decided to book her timeshare for 2 nights so we could take DNephew to WDW for the first time! In Disney on 6/6-6/8. We stayed off property at Cypress Palms. Had ressies at Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare. Visited DStudios and MK.

    Day One -

Left my mom's southwest Fl home at 9am. Arrived hotel at 11:30 (we made great time!). Checked in and to our delight our room was ready! So we hauled everything to the room and had a light lunch then it was off to DStudios!

First up was GMR then Playhouse Disney for DN. He absolutely loved it! We then checked on wait times for Toy Story and FP were gone for the day and the wait time was 120 minutes! So we ventured off to Backlot Tour, Muppets, Star Tours all with no wait! Then back to Toy Story and DD and I waited the 110 minutes to ride the new attraction. We were very impressed, but I highly recommend FP!! No ride is worth waiting 2 hours IMO!

Then it was back to the resort for some dinner and R&R. This is not usually our way of doing Disney, we go, go, go until the parks close. But with a toddler in tow, we made some necessary adjustments.

    Day 2 - MK!

Today we were up and out by 9 and took the boat over to the MK! DN loved the boat ride. We arrived right in time for the show infront of the castle (sorry show name escapes me), then on to FantasyLand. We rode Teacups, Pooh, Dumbo, PP, and IASW. All had under 30 minute wait times. We had FP for PP. DN loved Teacups and Pooh.

We then had lunch at Pinnochio's Village Haus. Then we ventured off to Frontier Land where DD and I got FP for BTMRR for later. We all boarded the train to Toon Town. Saw Mickey and Minnie at Mickey's House and had our pics taken.

While DN napped with Dmom and DGM in Cosmic Ray's, DD and I grabbed FP for SM and rode train to BTMRR. With our FP it was virtually a walk on. We then headed over to AdventureLand to check out the wait for Pirates, but it was closed for maintenance! AHHH! DD was very upset about this , but I assured her we would be back in August and she could ride it then.

We stopped for Frozen OJ's since we were melting, and then took another whirl on teacups. Then met back up with DM, DGM and DN and headed to Crystal Palace.

I thought for sure that DN would be terrified of the characters, but he absolutely loved Tigger and Pooh. He just couldn't get enough of them! So we enjoyed a nice buffet with the characters and then headed back over to AdventureLand. We did JC and Aladdin. Then it was back over to TomorrowLand for the People Mover (or TTA) and Buzz. DD and I gave our SM FP to a young couple since DD was feeling at this time. It was nice to make someone's day as they were very grateful not to have to wait in line.

By this time it was close to SpectroMagic, so we found spots on Main Street and enjoyed the magical show, and then moved closer to the entrance to view Wishes.

Then it was back to the boat, as our day was done. But it was a great time had by all.

    Day 3-

We headed to GF for breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. Very enjoyable and DN was able to see Tigger and Pooh again which made his day. We then made the very long ride back to DM's house.

Because my parents are so completely uninterested in WDW, I am very envious of your multigenerational trip. I think that is really cool. Guess I will have to wait for granchildren and I will just have to be the oldest generation. It sounds like you had a great little trip and a perfect first trip for your little nephew. Lots of good memories were made, I am sure. Thanks for reporting.
