Hooray for Splash!!!! Sounds like you got just a wet as the last time we rode it in October. Sometimes you just hit those water cannons at the right (or wrong?) time. As usual your dining reviews are making me hungry, but the Ohana dinner sounds so delicious.

Reading this really makes me wish we had been able to hang out more in October. Oh well, there's always the next meet. Don't wait too long to post day 3!

I was extremely sad to see that I had NO shout outs... especially for the BnC thing! Man... there's just no love!

Anywho, your day sounds just as busy as you described while you were there. I hope we get just as much done in Sept as you did over Memorial Day weekend.

    I can't wait for day 3!

Great report, Jared! Sure we can't convince you to become a travel writer rather than a sports writer!

A great report and it sounds like you had a great day! I prefer Pooh to Toad, except that Pooh always seems so blasting hot! I hope your sister feels better for some of the MGM rides! I think that taking a break at the resort during the day is the best way to enjoy your time at WDW. Thanks for sharing!

Another great report. I'm still not convinced about the chicken nuggets - we had some good ones at Columbia but the ones in the studios were dreadful.

Jared, I am so with you on not getting the Winnie the Pooh hate. I love that ride. Splash Mountain is also my absolute favorite for the same reasons you stated. My favorite drop is the first one into the Laughing Place.

As far as Buzz goes, I too used to be awful. Here is a trick I learned. Place your hand in front of the laser to make sure it's working and get a feel for how the aim is. Then, try to aim at an area no one else is shooting at. It makes it much easier to aim when you know which beam is yours!

*Wanted to add that my fiancee and I ate at Beaches N Cream on our last visit and thoroughly enjoyed touring the Beach and Yacht clubs. (It was Christmas time as well so everything looked gorgeous). I spent at least 10 minutes outside watching and wandering around Stormalong Bay. No one was even in the pool, I just found the whole setup fascinating. I would love to stay at Beach Club one of these days.

I was a fan of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, but I think the nostalgia for it is greater than the quality of the ride itself. I was initially upset at its removal, but I feel that The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a good replacement and is at least as good as Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

I'm not very good at Buzz Lightyear's Spaceranger Spin either. It doesn't help that I've never been a fan of the ride. I often feel like I have to fire several times before I figure out where my red dot is located, and then I sometimes lose sight of it again later in the ride.

'Ohana had the wontons and potatoes as recently as September when we ate there. I'm not sure how I feel about that change, but I'll keep an open mind about it if we eat there again in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading about this day of your trip. The details included in the report are fantastic.

Jared, thanks so much for the report (it's amazing!) and sorry to be so late commenting on it.

Your description of the pool really wants to make me stay there (and our trip is in December so that is some quality writing!)

Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
